Cassi's perspective

Little girls are always told that they will marry someone just like their father. I was no exception...however; I was never convinced I would find anyone like my father. I never dreamed I would find someone who was as loving or as handy as my dad. Then Jason came along....and I soon realized everyone was right, my prince charming has a lot in common with my dad. I knew Jason was the man I wanted to spend my life's adventure growing old beside. He is one of the most thoughtful humans I have ever met and it doesn't hurt that I think he's insanely good looking too :) 

Jason's Perspective

 Sitting here thinking about Cassi, the one word that comes to mind over and over again is Thankful. I am thankful that every day I get to see firsthand how hardworking and extremely passionate she is at work and at home. She may not know this, but she pushes me every day to work harder to make myself a better person. However, I am most thankful for the role model she is for Ariana and Haylee. I know It is not easy for her at times, but she has accepted us into her life and I cannot imagine a better role model for two little girls than Cassi. She is always encouraging them in whatever they are doing to be better, work harder, and to become the best at what they are doing. I am honored and truly thankful that I have her by my side.

 Our Story

We met in 2014 and had our first date at The Winking Lizard in Fairlawn, Ohio. We were faced with many challenges early in our relationship including home renovations, new careers, and the true test...Jason's little girls. We soon learned we could weather any storm as long as we were together. Over the next 3 years, Jason would take his first of many airplane rides and learn a lot more about fashion designers than he ever hoped. Cassi, on the other hand would learn a lot more about tractors and the outdoors than she ever imagined. We have enjoyed the last 3 years side by side watching Ariana and Haylee grow up, spending lots of time with friends and family, traveling the world, attending Steeler games, watching Ohio State and the Cleveland Cavaliers, attending concerts, and renovating.  

The proposal and the ring are very important to both of us because Jason spent numerous hours designing Cassi's dream ring with Michael Vesely, the Karish's long time jeweler. Jason accompanied by his father Larry, asked Ken for Cassi's hand in marriage on a Thursday when the Karish family was gathered at the family bar The Overlook. The proposal happened quickly after he got Ken's blessing at home on a random Tuesday night after having drinks at our favorite local bar. We are so excited to invite the most important people in our lives to join us for a celebration of our love that will kickoff this new chapter in our adventure.
